Firewall Help

I am running Win XP on a Dell Dimension.
AVG Free Edition - virus software
Online Armor Free - Firewall

My firewall is for some reason blocking access to sites that I normally can access. Email in yahoo, my own www site log-in page. I ran a diagnostic thing and it says the http, https are not there. How do I fix this please?

Did you block these programs when running OA Firewall for the first time?

If so, go to Programs. In Programs, right click on the programs in question and choose "Allow" to override "Block". Hope this helps.

what is your internet security settings set on? Have you added The blocked Urls to your allowed list on your firewall?

 

well i'm not sure what i did, played w/firewall settings and restarted pc and e'thing is ok. do have another ? tho, in the firewall under Hosts, wow there are things there that shouldn't be..i.e. sex stuff, it is ok to block those host yes?

 

No don't BLOCK them. Leave them on allowed. These entries will protect you while surfing etc.

You use Spybot S&D? Spybot puts them in there through their immunization process.
