Firewall inactive after hibernation

    Hi,

    I have a PC Tools firewall, and I when the computer comes back on after hibernation or sleep, the firewall seems to stop working.

    The activity section shows no packets as either sent or received.

    I have to turn off and then turn on the firewall to show a reading of packets.

    I have no malware/viruses etc...

    Any ideas???

    Welcome to Major Geeks.

    Don't use hibernation.
    Sooner or later you will regret it as you pc will become unbootable.

    I've just had a vitally important business laptop in for non-boot because the owner let it hibernate at 3.42 am (according to the logs).
    I see these on a regular basis.

    They really are a pig to get going again.
