    Hey Gang,
OK, Here's the issue. I currently have PC Tools Firewall Plus for my firewall. I turned it off through my Security Center in the Control Panel. Then I noticed that a firewall is still on. I checked to make sure Windows Firewall isn't on. It was off. I clicked to see what firewall is on and it said Comodo Firewall Pro is on. I haven't had that firewall installed for over 6 months. My question to you guys is how do I get rid of this? I've searched all over my computer for Comodo and did not find anything. It's running somewhere but I can't find it to turn it off. Any ideas? I currently have Windows XP Pro. I have a Dell Optiplex GX 150. P3E 1Ghz and 512 Mg of Ram.
If you have anymore questions about my system feel free to let me know.
    Thanks!

Did you search for Comodo? You need to search with Search Companion - the one with the yellow dog. In Search Companion there's an option to search for hidden files and folders also. Use that option. Then delete all files and folders found.

First try CCleaner. http://www.majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Slim_No_Yahoo_Toolbar_English_d4191.html Use the registry, scan, back up and fix issues.

It that doesn't work try the info below.

Googled around quite a bit and found this link: http://www.pchell.com/support/multiple_antivirus_in_security_center.shtml Follow the instructions.

According to various posts I read, it's not just for antivirus remnants left but also for any firewall that left remnants behind.

http://forums.techguy.org/windows-vista-7/675277-windows-vista-security-center-issue.html and http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=207713 Both links address seeing 2 firewalls just like you and solved it by using the the pchell.com link

Sorry, couldn't find the Comodo Removal Tool or if it even exists.

Sometimes companies try to hide the fact that they are incapable of making a proper uninstaller. They do this by making some files and folders hidden. This way residue wont show up in a search. I have found such folders more than once by searching in safe mode with Search Companion's (the one with the yellow dog in XP Home) advanced settings enabled.
