    hi there,

hope you chaps can help. I am on a very large network at work, and as such they have complex firewall settings and require all PCs to be configured thier way. I have just been given a laptop, and inorder to use it home, i don't want to leave it open to attacks from my wireless ADSL connection. So my question is can I install a firewall that only blocks my wireless connection, and not my LAN connection. Alternatively, can i enable a firewall only for certain Windows XP login accounts (i.e. I have a separate local account for home use - web etc...).

I use Sygate on my home PC, but this seemed to cause trouble when I logged onto my work netwrok this morning. Can a firewall be installed only for a specific user account?

    Ta!
