firewall problem

Windows does not detect my pc tools firewall plus, why does it not notice it, and windows keeps nagging me about it.

open up windows security center in control panel. then in that window underneath virus protection where it says off, click on recommendations. in the small window that pops up make sure the option at the bottom is checked that says "i will monitor my anti-virus myself.

that should do it, i always hated windows security center.

 

You Mean 'Windows Security Center' Bothering You With It's Ststem Tray Icon ? If That's The Case Then, Disable The Firewall Monitoring In WSC.

Control Panel > Windows Security Center > Change The Way Security Center Alerts Me (In Left Pan - Resources) > Disable Monitoring By Unchecking Firewall.
