Firewall Problems

    Trying to connect to limewire, and it says that it has detected a firewall. All of my firewalls seem to be turned off. How do I find out what is preventing this connection? Thank you.

    Limewire should work with Firewall,cos I have LW PRO with Zone Alarm.Maybe the settings in firewall is not right,so you can't connect to internet.What firewall do you use?Check the rules for LW,and allow insted of deny.

    Im no expert here, but i know that the AV that i use has a p2p section, just check to see if it is not your AV that is blocking access. Avast has a section for this, but I believe that the default is checked for limewire.. Good luck..

    P2P without a firewall? Limewire works with PC-cillin Internet Security '06. I wouldn't let them use Limewire without it, and I sure would get some grief over that.
