Firewall program question...

What's the concensus on WyvrenWorks Firewall?

I tried it a long time ago, but I couldn't get it to work. However, that was back in my pre-MajorGeeks days, so I was definitely not as tech-savy as I am today (granted, I'm not so tech-savy now...but, more than I was then! ).

 

I use the firewall that came with internet explorer... Never let me down yet

A firewall comes with IE now??

Myself, i use the built in Panda one (which is sygate by the way) which works fine. I seem to remember trying to get that to work on a w98 machine aages ago... it didnt like the modem so kept crapping out. Weird.

 

IE does not come with a firewall.

 

I use Panda on one machine, and Kerio on the other.

i have heard ok things about wyvern, i didn't like it though, can't remember why off hand though. It probly just wasn't very estheticly pleaseing or something. i like pretty software with lots of information available and lots of options but not to crazy technical.

 

Yeah, that's kinda what I remember it being like too...bulky and difficult. I ended up moving on to ZA as well.

I guess I won't experiment with it again then.
