I was looking at my firewall's logs and I noticed that there are a large number of entries that say "192.0.0.10 request permission to access My Computer". I thought that 192.0.0.10 was me? (or may be it is 192.0.0.1 that I am thinking of). Anyway, is this normal? There are a lot of them. We had a laptop on our local net, (wireless in house) but that fried the battery, so now there is just this one computer on the net. Is there anything to worry about here?

Networking is not my thing but think it's a local connection either the dead laptop or mail feed or some sort. Maybe someone else will have a better answer for you...

Install Active Ports and look, very user friendly
