Firewall ??

I have Vista on a HP s3100n and am trying to d/l install Zone Alarm. I keep getting that zone alarm is not compatible with vista. i let it automatically adjust settings so that it would install and as of currently have not been able to. Could you please let me know what if anything I need to do. I also have AVG free.Thanks,Trudy

 

Seems a hardware firewall is the way to go. Used Symantec until '04, used Trend Micro until very recently. Have a router and use freeware anti virus and firewall from MG's on Windows systems, shorewall and no root internet use for Linux. Seems these all in one security suites are getting out of hand. Always bought the disk after the first year of a d/l from Norton.

 

I d/l and tried install got the link from here. Was a majorgeek d/l. Should I try straight from the publisher instead? Or, can you recommend another that is free and compatible with Vista?
