Firewall

I recently installed a DSL in my home.It took a lot of phone calls to tech support at Earthlink and bellsouth but finally got it going.My speed is not that great though,but alot faster than my dial up was.My question is what kind of firewall should I be running?I already have Kerio running.I downloaded from this sight.Eartlink has Zone Alarm should I keep Kerio or download something else?

 

Kerio is quite sufficient.. but the best firewall is a hardware firewall.

 

I agree, hardware firewall such as a router is the best. I use Outpost software on the laptop.

Thanks for the help everybody.I got a LINKSYS cable /dsl firewall router.Everything is working good I networked my two computers together and am very pleased with the speed over dial up.Now my wife can be on the net and me also,and the phone will be available.Both systems are running WIN XP and I got everything going pretty easily.I used cat 5 cable and ran it in the attic to the other room.Being an electrician I used to crawl through attics alot.Luckly I do mostly commercial work now ,

 

You could of went wireless and saved some crawling around. Bit more money though.
