Firewalled?

    I am running XP/SP2 on a Dell 700M laptop. When I log on to certain websites to which I am a subscriber, I am unable to access certain features such as classified ads that I can access from my desktop at home. As far as I know, both computers are set up the same. Is this a firewall issue or some other contraint unique to the laptop? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
