FIREWIRE 800 HELP Needed

    the company I am interning with wants to use Firewire 800 for video editing with DVCPRO-50 but they dont know anything about it and neither do I and all I can find is people selling boards and chips and everything else but no solid info on what is needed to upgrade to it does anyone ahve any experience with this or can anyone lead me in the right direction?
