    Hi All,

I have several computers networked in my SOHO "A" XP, "B" XP, "C" 98SE. These are all dedicated IP networked via a router some by wifi some hard wired to the router.

I want to connect "A" to a fourth computer "D" via firewire/firenet. "D" is 98SE. This connection can be a seperate network from my SOHO network ie "D" only needs to sharefiles with "A" and no other computers on the network (though if "D" was part of the newtork it would be OK too).

I installed firenet on "A" and "D" and made the connection but it killed my SOHO network. Rebuilt the SOHO network but now no connectivity on the firenet "A"<->"D". No pinging, nothing... though on the netwrok connections list on "A" it says that I am connected.

    Any idea, tips?

    thanks in advance

You have to "Bridge" the LAN network on computer "A" to the Firewire on same.
