First and Last!

This is a game we play on long car trips. Someone starts with a word (whatever they want) and the next word has to start with the last letter of the word before it. It can be quite a lot of fun. I'll start...Canada...now the next word hat to start with the letter A.

 

Does the next word have to be in any way associated with the previous?

 

None whatsoever.

 

Then this game is infinite

it should have to be associated with the previous one though, then it would really be amusing

I hereby change the rules of the game so from now on the next word must be associated with the previous.

I don't want to sound rude(and I'm not saying this to be rude), but the object of this game is to make a word using the last letter of the previous word. i.e. if a word ends with an X, the following word must start with an X.
