First Build - No POST

I am testing out my first build and it doesn't seem to be working. It powers on successfully along with the hard drive and DVD drive, plus lights that indicate what 'state' the processor is in are lit up fully, but there is no video or beeps. There also doesn't seem to be any power going out through the IO ports, as the lights on my keyboard and mouse do not come on, or maybe thats because it fails a part of the POST?

Specs:
Motherboard - MSI PH67S-C43 (An H67 without integrated graphics :confused)
Processor - Intel Core i5-2300
RAM - 2 x 4GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333
Hard Drive - Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB SATA 6gb/s
Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS PCI

The video card is an old PCI card pulled from a working system but I don't get display. It doesn't beep without the video card either.

Also, I haven't heard a single beep from this thing...even when I KNOW its supposed to be beeping, like with no memory installed. It does have pins on the motherboard that are for 'Speaker' and 'Buzzer' so I'm thinking maybe its using some internal speaker to beep? But I don't have anything to plug in to those pins.

What could be wrong??

 

Are you sure the motherboard is mounted properly, and that there are no shorts from unused posts under the MB?

 

I've tested it outside of the case with the same result.
