First Holiday abroad

    My daughter went away on a 2 week holiday, went on the Tuesday, ended up with stitches in her hand on the Saturday (accident with a tin opener) and Stitches on the Monday (some ignorant person threw a bottle and it ended up hitting her on the foot). She couldnt walk, couldnt swim, so she came home 6 days early, Its put her off goin away!

    Anyone else had a good holiday? :rolleyes:

    OMG im so sorry for her. That truly truly sucks. A whole vacation ruined because of one that ignorant person.

    and it cost her a fortune in medical expenses and an early flight ticket home :(

    I would have found out that person's name and sued them for the medical charges for her foot.

    G.T. R.I.P February 4, 2007. You will be missed.

    Last "vacation" was to Chicago, just after New Years. 6" of Snow on Sunday, and around -15 degrees F (-26C) by Tuesday IIRC, but had fun anyway. Next "vacation" will be visiting my folks in southern California for Christmas. And that burns up all of this year's vacation. Long dry spell this summer.

    I hope she will heal quickly. Although you missed out on a nice vacation, maybe you could find something to do around your area as a family.

    shame she missed it...... seems to be the norm over there, even the refuse peeps, just pick up bottles and smash em in the gutter!

    Sorry to here that news Nickson and with it being her first time away, doesnt make wanting to go away again pleasureable experience does it! I hope her foot isnt too bad and will heal quickly, sadly the experience wont :(

    She didnt go to Faliraki did she?
