First post to MG?

JOOC (just out of curiousity) I tried to go back to

http://www.majorgeeks.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1 or

http://www.majorgeeks.com/vb/showthread.php?t=00001

to see who posted the first thread ever on MG but I was only able to go back to

http://www.majorgeeks.com/vb/showthread.php?t=31000 roughly as 1, 00001, 10000, 20000 and 30000 crashed.

Would like to know who posted the first thread, what were the replies, etc.

Which is still sticky in the games section! I dont know who made the very first post at MG, so I can't find the earliest post

Thanks guys. What I was hoping for was a type of mission statement or self promotion of MG, or something similar that would explain the reason for MG (as it was then ), MG's hopes and aspirations, etc. You know the sort of stuff. Guess all is lost, unfortunately. Baz

Sorry Bazza ... I cannot remember back 2 and a half years..... when we first joined MGs ( my signup number is 8 ) so I was here at the very first day, it was a frenzy of Woooo Tim and Jim are back

mission statment I guess was to make MGs as good as if not better than Tweakfiles/3Dfiles were................ did they succeed, IMO YES
