Flash 9 Problems

Hi. I'm new here, so go easy on me. I recently cleaned a whole bunch of Malware, Viruses, etc off this PC, and ever since then, Flash doesn't work. Well, that's a lie. Flash works for SOME websites, but not for others. For example, Youtube uses Flash, and I can view videos on there. Myspace uses Flash, also. And Trillian as well. But, I can't view my homepage right (Comcast.net). It keeps telling me "Click here to install the latest Flash update" or something along those lines. Anyhoo, I've gone to Adobe and gotten the uninstaller, uninstalled it, ran CCleaner, rebooted, went to adobe, installed, rebooted, to no avail. My homepage still said to install Flash. So, I unistalled yet again, ran CCleaner, went and got a Standalone installer (thanks comcast lol) rebooted, reinstalled via standalone, and STILL have nothing. I scanned my PC for viruses and etc and it came up clean. So, I'm completely stumped as to what to do to rectify the situation.

 

Can't anyone help me? I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

The only thing that leaps to my mind is...if your using Firefox you may have installed an add-on called flash block and or no script. This should cause a yellow popup telling you it is blocking content on the page you are viewing(bottom of screen) .......click on options button to allow content.

I fixed it lol. I downloaded Dial a Fix off of here and ran it and it suddenly worked, so I'm assuming it was a registry problem or something.
