Flash Audio "Crackling" Issue

Out of nowhere my flash audio (for example, when watching a video on youtube) has began to crackle. It's happened to me before, and I believe that the problem was that hardware acceleration was on in the Flash Settings. Sure enough, it was on again now, although disabling it has not stopped the problem this time. I've tried cleaning my cookies and restarting but nothing seems to do the trick. It happens on any audio device I'm using to output sound. I'm running windows 7 bie.
