flash card problems

Can anyone help?

I have some photos of my niece that I downloaded to my computer. I want to print them out and need to put the photo back on the compact flash card, so I can put the card in the printer.....but I can't get the printer to see the photo on the card....

What have I done wrong?

Probably nothing except not use the proprietary software that came with your digital camera to put the photo back on the card.

I'm assuming that you took them with a digital camera that you own.

I have recently noticed that my proprietary software (Olympus Camedia) has a feature for converting jpgs into a format suitable for viewing on the card, using my camera. The pictures can be seen just fine by my computer, treating the camera as another removable disk but the camera itself can't show them to me. Here's a quote from the Help in Camedia:

So poke around in your Help and see what you can find that matches this information, transfer the picture as per the instructions and then try again. I haven't tried doing this on mine yet but I'd make an educated guess that it's why you're running into the same problem with your printer that I've found with my camera.

I suddenly had a good idea....I plugged my laptop into the printer......Oh boy, it is hard work being so THICK AND STUPID!
