Flash drive not recognized

Sandisk Cruzer Micro 2.0GB Was working fine on XP3sp as drive G. Could locate at Computer management-Disk management-open. Not there now.
When I try to open says use Launch3U.exe which I cannot find.
Can unplug and plug but does nothing. Went to website, no help.

Contact SanDisk by email. The support there is excellent.
I had to use them way back in the 98SE era to get a USB stick to install. They carefully walked me through all the steps to get it working.

Have you tried it on all USB ports in your PC?
Have you tried on someone else's PC?

Hi

If you open Device Manager up then open the Universal Serial Bus Controllers branch, then plug in the USB drive and may need to click refresh at the top menu to refresh the list, then look for a new entry, could be called USB Mass Storage Device, then right click it and choose Uninstall, then unplug your USB device, then replug back in and hopefully it may have just been a corrupted driver for that device.,

If not the follow what Plodr mentions in contacting SanDisk
