I am trying to put a 4.5G movie on a 32G flash drive. I keep getting a message that the file is too large for the drive. Am I doing something wrong?
    Any help appreciated. T.I.A

Hmmm, sounds obvious but is anything on the thumb drive and if not can you format it?

    Hi

Going on from MA's post and thoughts re-format the Thumb drive to NTFS and see if you can copy the film ok. 32bit file format can be restrictive

Thumb drives are formatted as FAT32. FAT32 will not accept a file 4GB or larger.

You need to format the flash drive with NTFS. Open Device Manager, find your flash drive, right-click it, and click properties. Click the Policies tab and select Optimize for performance. Click OK, close Device manager and open Computer. Format the drive using NTFS.

NB. You must use Safely Remove Hardware to disconnect the flash drive.

    Here's detailed instructions.
