I am having an issues trying to download Adobe's Flash Player. I went to their website.. adobe.com.. and clicked on get flash player, when I clicked on the download button nothing happens it goes to the next page and nothing no download no error message...I went into there faq's to find out what i should try I tried all there sugestions from upgrading my Internet Explorer to turning off all my virus programs, checking to see if i had a pop-up blocker on ( I don't) closing all open windows, disableing my firewall, making sure my java was enabled.( java is enabled and downloaded sun java upgrade from major geeks site too) also checked to see if an older version of flacsh player or macromedia flash player was on my system and uninstalled these. Went back to adobe.com to try downloading again and nothing no download no error message... I am using Operating system Windows 98. I need the flash player to see animated images on some games i play and to view some animations on some web pages... Any help on this would be appreciated I have tried to download this about 12 times now and still no download...also on the download page u have an option to download the yahoo toolbar I tried downloading the flash player with this option checked and unchecked same thing no download.
    Thank You

    Give This Ago!

Give yourself a fresh Macromedia Player's program installation [Eliminating the Bugs??] do have a look within your = Control Panel = Add & Remove = and see if you have both programs listed of Macromedia [Could be shown as under Adobe ....] Flash Player and Macromedia Shock Wave Player and uninstall same! [May not show in Add and Remove?? = If not, use the Macromedia Uninstallers??]
Next Go to URL [May have to copy and paste into Internet Address Field]
[Note This Web Page is Slow to Open??? = Both of the Adobe Player Uninstallers and the Program are shown in the Web Page]

    www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

Then use the Macromedia Uninstallers of Macromedia Flash Player and Shock WavePlayer ''Uninstall Programs'' and repeat using the Unistallers a couple of times to make sure that all the unininstall has been done [clean] and then install both their latest Macromedia players as available from within this web page.
May be worth the try to see if overcomes your problems
    Hope may help!
