flash player lies .

when ever i go to a page and click on a viedo clip every time it says i need to up grade player and i have 10 times or more and it still gives this bull you need to up grade , how do i get rid of the lieing pesty notices? but the viedo plays after i click off the notice. ihave windows 7 home premium.

 

Can you post a screenshot of such a notice? Are you sure it's from Adobe? I have seen dozens of similar posts in the Flash Player forum, where some malware tries users to upgrade to "Flash Player Pro" or other fake software.

 

Hey guys, I have run across the same notices telling me to "upgrade" or that "I need to install Flash Player" or that it is "out of date". I just click them off and bypass them because I know I'm up to date. pwillener, you hit the nail on the head, all of these are are just malware waiting for you to step into the trap.

 

I would run the latest version of the Uninstaller and then reinstall Flash Player.

If you still get the messages, then you know it's bogus or malware as already suggested.
