I get this message YBROWSER caused an invalid page fault in module MSVCRT.DLL every time I go onto a page that uses macromedia flash player. It also does this in Internet Explorer. The only way it doesn't do this is if I remove Flash player and not download it when it askes me to. Then I can't see the pages that use flash.

    Could someone Please Help?! Thanks!

I tried to replace the dll files with the new ones. It now workes some of the time. It let me play the yeti games here on majorgeeks, but then if I try to view a site that uses flash somewhere else it comes up with the error and closes the browser. It does the same thing in regular Internet Explorer.

I can't find any settings in the browser that would fix this.

Another thing I thought of, is that it didn't start doing this until I upgraded to flash version 8. I looked around for an older version to install again, but could not find one.

    Any more ideas?

    Thanks!

Theres always Firefox.... you do have to reinstall stuff like java and flash when you change from ie ..I've been up and running with no errors for a long time w/everything loading and playing fine. Go here to get started switching from ie(or just to check it out)

YBrowser sounds like you have SBC/Yahoo browser, is this correct? No matter, since you switched to FF.

  10. I had verizon yahoo! browser and i hated that thing with a burning passion! Then some stuff on the lan that we have changed and i finally took it off and put ff on it and i fell in love with this browser in a day. No popups or anything. I would just get that and stick yahoo toolbar for ie surfing cause my little sister uses ie. But i would stick with ff though and just use ie for things like windows upddate that need ie to work properly. But did you just try installng flashplayer over the messed up one yet? Or maybe try lsp fix scince it could be a broken lsp chain. Can find it right here on good old mg.com. Cause i know i had a borken chain on it once tha chaslang pointed out when i had it. So give that a try and see if that helps.
