Flash Sound question

Hi Everyone, I have a Flash MX 2004 question if anyone might be able to help. It's probably very easy...ok here goes...
Full Flash movie ...Sound currently loads when the movie does, and I have a button to toggle the sound OFF and back on again....how can I get it to NOT play the sound when the movie loads and have the button toggle the sound ON and off???

(I have the action script for the button if that helps)

 

You could have a piece of actionscript on the sound so that when it loads, it stops itself. somthing like

on(load) {
stop();
}

OK I gave that a try and this error message was returned:
**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 63, frame=39:Line 1: Mouse events are permitted only for button instances on(load)

Ok well I'm not exactly hot on actionscript. There is another behaviour you can use for soundclips that will execute when they load. Look it up.
