Flash

I want to learn flash animation and make a website intoduction. What program do i need to make this intro? And do you no any beginner tutorials on how to do it,

Hi, you'll need to get macromedia Flash software, the newer the version the more the money. I bought flash 5 on ebay for like $50. Flash MX more $$$.

Now learning it is a bit of a bugger. I haven't to this day found a good tutorial. The flash program comes with a tutorial, and is OK I guess. You will just have to spend HOURS messin with it. I even bought a flash for dummies book that was worthless. Video professor might have one, again ebay, but be warned, when you install video professor on you PC, your desktop is going to get loaded with a whole bunch of junk you don't want or need. But is is more geared towards a beginner.


Flash presentations are nice, but I steer clear of them. Most people don't even stick around long enough for it to load. If you put it within your site, and warn people it's a flash presentation of such and such, then it could be a good thing.

I learnt the basics of flash through trial and error , then i bought a book on flash to learn more precisely . Hope this helps.

P.s flash does look like a bit of a jumbled up framework at first , but its not , well , when you get used to it.
