Floppy Diskette Failure

I had this issue for a while "and then I had someone fix the computer to work." Well sense then it says at load up "Seek failure to diskette" or something like that.. and the options are f1 to continue and load up.. or f2 for something else. And I was wondering if I could get this to stop popping up when I DON'T have the disk for the computer. Computer is XP Dell Dimension

Press F12 before windows loads to get into the BIOS. Your mouse will not work; you have to maneuver using the keyboard alone. Look over each tab. One of them will have boot devices. It probably says floppy enabled. You want to change enable to disabled. Your computer will no longer look for a floppy drive.
When you fix that, press F10 which is the normal way to exit the BIOS and save any changes made.
If you get lost looking around the BIOS, the escape key should get you back to the previous screen.

I press f12 Which went to Boot Device Menu. It said
- On board SATA a hard drive
- on board or usb cd rom drive
- system setup
- hard drive diagnostic
- Boot to utility partition

I went to I believe Boot Utility and system setup looking. I found a part in BIOS about loading up "in a certain order when loading"
And it was this.

on board hard drive
usb device
no on board usb floppy(not present)
IDE hard drive
usb cd room drive

Anyways it only has 1 and 2 as in "its loading 1 and 2 first.. or 1 and 2 only.. and I dont remember which ones it were exactly. But I know the top hard drive is 1 and I believe bottom is the second. But floppy has no number next to it (as if ) it was loading at load up. A

floppy enable/disable is usually in the system setup menu
