Hi, when I try to open a floppy? I get this message.....A:/ is not accessible......No ID address mark was found on the floppy. I have tried to open several disks and get the same result......Anyone got any ideas? :)

Have you made any recent hardware changes to your system?

When was the last time you tried to use a floppy?

Also, you could try booting to safe mode to see if you can read a floppy.

if it does not work in safemode...try this:

    1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

    2. Click the Device Manager tab.

    3. Double-click Floppy Disk Controllers.

    4. Click the floppy disk controller, and then click Remove to remove
    the controller.

    5. Click OK.

    6. Restart your computer.
