Fly trouble

    I installed Fly free photo editing on my PC have windows 8 and the program wont open getting something about shim error? I am not real great at this so is there a simple solution or do I need to find other software?:-o

    Did you try right clicking on the Fly icon and selecting run in compatibility mode? I had an installer that Windows 8.1 automatically chose to run in compatibility mode and the software (a driver) installed and ran perfectly.

    Tried changing the compatabiliy settings pogram opened but was not functioning settings for window 7 were what I chose. Dont understand the error message that poped up but none of the functions would work.

    Try running the program in Safe Mode. That will help to rule out some things.
