This pop up comes up and I am not sure what it means.
I am not sure what causes this dialogue to come up. But, I think it's when I press the function key and another key.
Does anyone know what this is asking?

It looks like a 3rd party program that could place icons near the clock for Num lock off or on, Cap Lock on or off and Microphone on or off.

I have a program installed for num lock and cap lock. This is what I use

I don't know all the available programs so I can't tell you what to look for. Do this. press a key and when it comes up, press ctrl + alt + del and look through processes in Task Manager to see what is running. The description column should give you a clue as to what it is.
If you don't have a description column showing in task manger, click on View then columns and scroll down until you come to descriptions. Put a check/tick in that box.

As a result of your advice, I figured it out more.
Turns out that it's a program that's made by Lenovo called On Screen Display Application. I have a trackpoint keyboard, so Windows must have installed the software based on the keyboard that I have. One thing about the keyboard is that the keyboard does not indicate to you if the caps lock is on. That's a hassle when you are about to type in a password and don't remember whether the caps lock is on or off. So, now that I pressed "ok" in the dialogue box, an icon pops up on the bottom right of my screen when I turn the caps lock on or off. As for the other icons in the dialogue box that I posted above, I am not sure what those mean. When I press the function key, nothing happens.

The F keys have two sets of functions. To use the alternate function you have to simultaneously press Fn on your keyboard, but either set of functions can be set as default. I suspect the FnLk enables you to lock the keys to one set or the other and the key beneath puts it back in switchable mode. On my Lenovo you have to hold Fn down to get the dialog box that enables you to set the default and yours may be the same. The other icon switches the microphone on/off

    RTFM.

Ok, I see now. Thanks, I didn't notice the function lock. On my keyboard, it's the same key as the esc key.
This (or possibly any) keyboard can be very useful once you learn where the function keys are without looking.
