Anyone know of a good freeware app that will watch a network windows folder and flash a popup or sound our icon when a file is added to the folder? Our situation is we have a new copier that can route faxes to a shared folder on our server as TIFF files. we just want one person to be in charge of managing the folder and getting the faxes where they need to go.

    Thanks!

There are scripts one can use to monitor files and folders.

See if This is of any help.

I guess i am lost...how would i write the script? the files will be tiff files. the script looks easy enough to modify for what i want to do. but what would run the script?

There isn't a freeware app that does this automatically?
