Folder problems in Outlook 2003

    I have just given away a old PC to a friend to replace his old one.
    When setting up his E-mail (by copying the Outlook.pst file from his old machine to the new one), 3 exactly equal Personal folders appear in Outlook. All 3 have an Inbox and all 2 receive new mail. How can I get 1 Inbox and 1 Personal folder. Using XP Home and Outlook 2003.
