folders in program files

In add/remove programs, I deleted all that I do not use. All good. I ran through every step in the malware removal guide. All good (I think). But just now I went to program files and there are folders (MANY) of the programs I deleted!! Some have nothing in them, some still do. Whatsthedealman??? Should I just go through and delete them all?? By the way, I am new here but I lovvveeeee MajorGeeks!!

 

What that is,when you use the built in un install it leaves some things behind and without using a cleaner they just sit there doing nothing but taking up space.
download http://majorgeeks.com/download4191.html update it and run it in both cleaner and registry,let it clean all that it finds.
If you have doubts you have the option to back up the registry before it cleans it. (i don't bother)
This is a cleaner used here on a regular basis and is perfectly safe.
