Folding server (Help)

Being I am the type of wearing my shoes on the wrong feet could someone tell me what a folding server is?... And please don't go with the tray in the bed gig. This is a serious question from someone who does not know.

 

Well, with a dearth of info available, where do you see this 'folding server'? Is it in reference to Stanford Uni's folding endeavour?

Do you mean a folding client? (the type you and i run on our home pc's?)

 

It is In reference to a Stanford folding server. I have found a used MOB that was part of a folding server and I am trying to find out how it was used.

 

I'll assume that MOB=MOBO It was used for intense calculations and depending how the user set it up, it could have used %100 of the CPU(s), the way most folks have theirs set up including me, all four cores pinned at %100 working 24/7.

I can't say much more than that except to say that if it still works now error free then it should keep on working for a very long time.
