Folding with multiple users

I am going to install folding on my moms computer. It is the 'family' computer, so, has many users.
It is running XP Pro.

Before, I tried installing it, and it would only run when logged in as the user who installed it.
I also tried to set it as a scheduled task for other users, and while it started, it would not save the partially folded progress. It started from scratch every time. So, no units were ever completed.

Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

I checked the website, but couldnt find any info.

Run Folding as a service with the -service flag....

the script at the top of my page is really easy (I didn't write it, so I cannot take credit for it!)

or you can use FireDaemon to run F@H as a service

either way works....

Excellent... any team is great.. F@H is a good cause

give me a holler if you have questions about setting it up as a service...

remember this is just for the console version...
don't run screen savers as they use CPU power ...

 

What is folding? I've never heard of it.
