Started out fine.30-40 minutes per each 1% of the WU.
Then somebody struck and took out a power pole.
When restarted, speeds was 1 1/2- 3 hours per each !% of the WU.
By then it had got rto 56% on Sept 8
Gentleman from PandeGroup suggested turning off the client and restarting.
When I restarted, ALL trace of that WU were gone from the machine and the project that started up was started at 8%.

Basically wasted a week of processing and 1 WU.
Current project is progressing fine, but how was it starting at 8%?

 

There's not much that I can help you with if the good Pande folk couldn't answer. Only thing I can think of ATM is you went back to one processor but if you've been folding for a week on one WU then you only have one proc. to start with. :confused

I've gotten WU's that have already been worked on but the count always started at 0%. Are you running a GPU client too? Grabbing at straws here. Oh, what's your normal PPD out of curiosity.

EDIT: BTW, there are always bad WU's springing up, nature of the hungry monster. I usually just clear the folder of everything except for client.cfg and chalk it up to experience.

Didn't grab one with that either.
Machine has been running 24/7 since installed.No configuration changes.
No GPU either.

 

I added an edit after you read my post, not much consolation I'm afraid.

 

This one is doing OK, so tears have done dried, so am running with what is here.
Already at 47%. (about 40-45 minutes per each 1%)
