For green newbie re Word

Abby shut your thread 'cause it seemed warezy.

However, I have a much better solution, and for all here.

There is a great Office Suite called openoffice. It is like Linux since it is free but does not not have Linux's growing pains. It reads most, if not all document formats. I've been using it now for 6 mths. and love it

it was not my intent to seem warezy at all.
i thought there would be a way i could get it LEGALLY because i have a legal windows xp running on my puter and i thought that microsoft word came with it but sense it wasn't on mine (i bought from a person not a company and god knows why they don't have any of the basic programs on here) i was thinking with my registry key code or some such buisness that i could get this fixed or something. i have solved my problem sense that post anyways though.
