Hey Pilky,

I was playing on the MajorGeeks.com server today and saw you there. I was impressed by your apparent ease at MAing.

I'm a noob at base and I'm trying to learn to MA, myself. I can do one every so often but I want to perfect it. Is there any chance you could give me some tips some time?

I was gonna e-mail you but it wouldn't let me - so I started this thread instead.

But i dont think theres anything i can tell you thats gonna impact your aim other then to practice. Maybe put away that chaingun every now and then and get some practice with the disk, also if you go to duel servers that it'l help, basicly just practice i guess, i'v also been playing the game for quite some time so that helps.

 

Also if you have any other question dont be affraid to stop in the <CgS> server, theres usually someone there that will be willing to help you out with anything Tribes related.

 

There used to be a server, named 'bootcamp' something.
It was set up like a trap shoot where you 'bumped' into a switch and a 'target' would jump for you to shoot at, to practice ma'ing. Anyone else have any better info on what I'm talking about?

 

Ya there was a few of them. The most recent one i can think of was hosted by TooCrooked, his was called 996 Bootcamp i believe. But the more popular one that you probably heard of is called B00zE BootCamP.

 

Don't suppose any of you know where I could get the mod that these bootcamp servers were running? Googling brought up nothing...

 

My new server has a LD training map on it, its not boot camp but theres bots that fly at flag and you can shoot them.

 

Cool. Would you mind giving me address of that server? I can't seem to find it in my list.
