can ping my static ip from my office network master but not from the internet need to reconfigure my thimpson (alcatel) speed touch 510 so that it will answer outside computers and link with digital video recording system

 

Not sure about this one, but I believe you would have to telnet to the speedtouch and use command line interface to configure/reconfigure.

Or there should be software or maybe the browser where you can access the configuration menu of the speedtouch. Since it sounds like there are multiple computers hooked up in your office, I would then think that you would port forward to your machine.

You may also want to look into tunneling (such as ssh tunneling) which may provide a more secure way of hooking into your office network.
