    Hello All.

I am sorry if this thread has been posted before but I looked and didn't see it anywhere.

I am using Windows XP and I have a file that I downloaded that doesn't work.
I have tryed to move it/delete it/rename it with no avail. I get the error message "this program is being used by another person/program close that program and try again."

I have tryed going into safe mode as well as closing all processes in task manager but nothing seems to help.

How can i find out what is using this file and/or how to force a deletion of it.

    Thanks for your time.

    Tripleguy

You could tell what kind of file it is.If it is a media file, you might have to kill explorer and delete with dos.
