ok, so I recently downloaded the latest WHQL drivers from NVidia, just another walk in the park right? well... not exactly, after installing them all of a sudden in EVERY game there's, in the top left corner an FPS bar and a tris/s bar.
in the bottom of the screen there's a weird table like thing with yellow, red and green stripes moving through it.
I've tried DetonatorDestroyer but it doesn't recognize the drivers.
Rolling back to previous drivers doesn't solve the problem either.

    relevant specs:
    NVidia ForceWare 56.72 WHQL drivers
    Asus V8240DT/Ultra GeForce4 Ti4400 128MB AGP4X
on MSI KT3 Ultra2 mobo (VIA KT333 chipset with latest Via Hyperion 4-in-1's).

Hi Fleppen in your desktop properties--under the advanced settings tab--geforce 4 t1-- theres a setting there called more direct 3d- in which you can turn on the performance graph
This sounds like what you are describing its a new feature of the Forceware drivers

it's not there, all I can set up is the following:

    (under "Performance & Quality Settings"):

    - AA settings (currently @ Application Controlled)
    - AF settings (also @ App. Control.)
    - Image settings
    - Vsync on/off
    - force mipmaps on/off
    - conformant texture clamp on/off
    - Extension Limit (non-edible)
    - Hardware acceleration (@single display).

I've looked everywhere, but there's no "More D3D" tab, nor a D3D or OGL tab as there was before 56.72...

I think this option only came about in the latest versions of the drivers, you may have set it in the registry when you had the 56.70s but you no longer have the option if youve gone back to an older set
Dont know if it makes a difference but i do use NV Hardpage to add extra menus to the display properties
