  1. I'm having trouble with FF and it loggin into my homepage on MSN. Everytime i start FF my "master password" thingy comes up...no biggie, but then instead of going to my homepage , I have to sign in all over again. You know email address....password. I used to have bellsouth as my homepage and had the same problem before but a quick uninstal/install of FF finally fixed it.)i had to have a username and password there to) But when i tried to do that again to set MSN as the home page it doeds the same thing again even when i checked "save my password and username". I've ran all kinds of virus/hijacker scans and come up zero items. My IE pulles it up just fine. Am i missing something? This is the version I'm runnin.....

Have you tried disabling all those extensions, and seeing if you still have the same issue?

The master password will pop up everytime you go to a site that has a password that is saved within FF. To me this is annoying, but to you, this may be a computer accessible to multiple individuals.

  3. It was doing this before the extensions. Maybe uninstall /reinstall again? And the pop password thing IS annoying but I do have to many people using my computer to not have one!! What is the best way to uninstall FF? The last time i did it and reinstalled FF it kept the same sttings from the previous install. So i went line by line in the registry (slow and tedious and scary) to clear it All out.Is there a better way??

If you uninstalled, and reinstalled FF, and this still happens, then more than likely not everything was uninstalled.

    Uninstall FF.

    Note, I'd backup your bookmarks.
