Foreman Vs. Seagal - No Holds Barred

Two time boxing champ and portable grilling legend George Foreman has challenged Steven Seagal, Akido master, actor, singer and part time deputy sheriff, to a 10 round fight. I have no idea what shape Foreman is in but a few years ago, I happened upon an episode of Seagal's reality show, Steven Seagal:Lawman. I was surprised how well he moved for a heavyset guy in his late 50s. I wonder what prompted old George to call Steve out. The Mayweather-Connors fight? Maybe he bought one of Seagal's horrible energy drinks? It's just seems so odd, out of the blue.

I enjoy some of Segal's movies...10 rounds sounds brutal...but I reckon both must be in top shape to even consider doing this sort of thing.

I thought "geezers at the Caesar's" as "hitting below the belt"

 

Neither look to be in fighting trim, or any kind of trim for that matter.

 

Foreman is a legitimate former world boxing champion. He hits very hard. Seagal is a martial arts master. Is he a proven competitor? That I cannot say. All Foreman would need is one hit in my opinion. My opinion of Seagal has plummeted in the last several years. If I had to bet my money would be on Foreman.

Particularly given their age, head trauma not a good idea...

 

Last I saw of Seagal was a news clip last year receiving a citizenship paper from Putin. He looked larger all over and I barely could tell it was him. Here's a similar picture and a brief on his Russian ties.

Indeed. He certainly has changed since his debut in the 80s and 90s.

 

Learn something new everyday...never knew of his Russian ties/attraction.

Dual citizenship...bet his comments are a nice hit in the eye for Trump.

 

As Jus Playing alluded to earlier, I can't fathom either man wanting to be in a fight. Is this a publicity thing?

 

At their age, either desperate for money and/or publicity and/or ego and/or early stages of dementia(?) thinking unreasonably?

Don't think it such a wise thing to do at their age...reckon they'd need to be in top level of health and fitness to consider this, there'll be damage, and not the fake type shown in movies either!

Interesting.

Both being in the public eye, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Perhaps it is all just a publicity stunt.

 

Round 1: "Get off my lawn!"

Round 2 "I oughta..."

Round 3: Much fist shaking

Round 4: Fist shaking and much mumbling and grumbling.

Round 5: Nap time.

I used to love the old Segal movies, but my $ is on Foreman.
