Didn't seem to slow for me. But, I am looking forward to the Gmail thing too.

 

OMG... that sucks .... you can view/change your secret questions in options, edit account details.

How stupid is that!

 

Call me paranoid, but what kind of security is to have the secret question and answer in plain sight in the options?

Now how do I cancel my account....

Ok, I know have a walla and a gmail. I will tinker with them. Any pointers on either, What makes them so great? I guess I must be missing something.

 

Walla, not so great. I sent an email yesterday to one of my other email accounts. Have not seen it yet. That's messed up right there.

Gmail, what I like about it is:

Free.
1GB storage.
The "conversation" style of email threading.
I'm a Google fan.
Unobtrusive advertising.
Labels.
Search capabilities.

 

From my own personal experience. I setup an account with

gmail
spymac
walla
then I used my yahoo account to send 3 messages to each account mentioned above.

they were all received with in 5 seconds
spymac being always the last one to receive
gmail lost to walla one one occasion
and walla lost twice to gmail

over all they were all fast.


They all seem to do the same thing. they collect keywords and try to send you ads pertaining to what they think you might buy.

Just remember this. when setting up email accounts you do not have to use your real information at all.
