Forgotten Administrator Password For Visa

Hello All,

I am not new to this site and want to put to rest any members thought that I'm trying to do something wrong.

I have Windows Vista with an administrator account (password protected) and one regular account(no password).

I have forgotten the password and would like to reset it. I would do not want to reinstall my OS.

Is it possible for me to reset my Vista Admin Password not? The better question would be, can I do it when I'm not that computer gifted?

I was on Microsoft Answers and saw this post.

Has anyone had any experience with the "Trinity Rescue Kit 3.3"? It seems fairly straight forward but I trust the Geeks on this site and want to get their imput.

I have used ophcrack with good sucess in the past:

Though it won't reset the password, it could tell you what the password is.
