Forgotten BIOS Password

    My brother has "forgotten" his BIOS password, and wants me to back-up his hard drive before wiping it clean. I have tried every password the man says he used and don't get through. Any suggestions?

    Can I get by it with a Boot disc? Or just move the hard drive over to another pc?

    Never mind

    I found some Major Geek info about removing the battery on the mother board.
    Will do this then see if I need help.
