Format statistics

    Does anyone know of a way to force XP SP2 to display the disk statistics, i(e..number of bites, sectors, ect) like the display in Win 98/Me. Have had several bad floppys disks that XP said were formatted ok.

    What about a...

    Start, run, type in cmd (press enter)

    Insert the floppy disk.
    type in the following:

    chkdsk a: (press enter)


    I believe this will show ye what ye want, with the results after the check. :)

    Thanks for that option. What I am really looking for is a registry hack or such so that it will display the info afer the disk is formatted, before you close the format window
