Format

When I open InCd to format a disc I used to get 2 options ie. 'Format or Quick Format ' now when I open InCd I only get the ' Format ' option the Quick format option is blanked out.
How can I get it back to show the 2 options?

 

Both "Format" and "Quick Format" will be available for CD-RW disks. However, a CD-R disk may be formatted but can not have it's index erased, so "Quick Format" does not apply in this case.

It just goes to show what an imbecile I am.
After posting my question I discovered that:
If there is no disc in the drive only the 'Format' option shows
If a disc is in the drive both options are available.
I'm afraid it's like everything I do. ' Trial and Error method '
