On a Dell Inspiron 530 Quad 2.4Ghz with Windows 7 32, I am trying to add as an external USB drive a WD caviar 3TB.
With Drive Manager, I get 730 new, 1690 unallocated, 650 unallocated (about).
First visit online suggests I update my BIOS to UEFI. (I never updated my BIOS, too scary. original from 6/20/2008).
I also have an extra bay INSIDE the machine, I could use if necessary, but the intention is to use the HD occasionally.
Could guide me on hou to farmat my 3 tera HD?
    Thanks.

Solved. Just delete the 750 gigs partition and create new one as GPT. Thanks.
